A busy start to the year

It’s been a busy start to 2021, with lots of new machine builds going on at Boxford HQ. We have seen so many new commercial customers investing in Boxford equipment, such as our range of laser cutting and engraving machines.

It’s also encouraging to be building new machines for customers in the education and training sector in the UK and around the world.

Our CO2 laser cutting and engraving machines continue to be popular with customers within signage, personalisation, craft and design markets. The sheer number of materials which can cut and engraved makes the machines a versatile and affordable solution, which can open up many opportunities for customers to diversify and produce a range of custom products.

Our A1HSPi fully enclosed plasma cutter is always an exciting build to watch come together. This particular machine, destined for a college in the North East of England is complete with a water table for fume and debris management, as well as a specialist filtered extraction system.

We have lots of 160TCLi bench top training lathes in various stages of assembly, which will be delivered to customers in the Republic of Ireland, The Netherlands, Chile and Greece. All of our CNC machines are manufactured from our factory in Halifax, West Yorkshire.

Along with our Boxford CAD/CAM Design Tools software, our training lathes make learning the ropes of CNC programming, 3D component design and manufacture accessible to range of age levels and abilities.

If it’s an industry standard precision metal cutting solution you require, then a fibre lasers for metal cutting could be high on your list. We offer compact and fully enclosed solutions suitable for a range of training workshop environments and industrial settings, where space can sometimes be limited. We currently have machines on order from customers in the UK, Norway and Egypt.

Offering such a comprehensive range of compact, safe and easy to use manufacturing equipment introduces Boxford to a large range of customers, markets and applications.

Whilst social distancing measures and limited travelling ability remains a must during the UK’s current national lockdown, we can still provide detailed remote demonstrations from our showroom. We can show our machines in action and answer any questions you may have.

Or if you would be interested in receiving free of charge samples to test whether one of our machines would be suitable for your application, this is something we can also easily accommodate.

If you’d like to speak to a member of our team to find a machine to suit your application, please get in touch!
