On 15th June, Boxford was delighted to return as an official sponsor of the Scalextric4Schools National Finals. Bringing together talented students from schools across the country, Scalextric4Schools challenges teams to design, build and race their own Scalextric cars.
The competition provides a unique opportunity for students to experience the engineering design process from concept through to competition, mirroring real-world industry practices. Focusing on developing valuable skills in engineering, CAD design, project management, branding and teamwork.
Congratulations to the 2026 Champions
We would like to extend our congratulations to The Circuit Breakers from Eltham College, who were crowned the Scalextric4Schools 2026 National Champions. Their success reflected their innovative design, strategic thinking and outstanding teamwork throughout the competition.
The standard of entries this year was incredibly high, with teams demonstrating impressive creativity, problem-solving abilities and a genuine passion for engineering.
It was inspiring to see students apply their knowledge in a practical environment and showcase the next generation of engineering talent.
