Created by innovative educators David Eyre and Chris Jarman, this competition challenges teams of up to four students to design and build the fastest slot racing cars powered by electricity. Launched in 2009, it has grown to showcase the brightest young designers across the nation.

Head of Design Technology and Art Engineering at The Bishops’ Blue Coat Church of England High SchoolSimon Hooks and his team have now taken over the organising of this fantastic event, ensuring future generations of young engineers get an opportunity to experience this fun and innovative challenge!
