Aley Shopfitting, Leicester
BFL2513 3kw Fibre Laser Cutter
Aley Shopfitting required a fibre laser cutter to replace their existing plasma cutter, in order to improve their cut quality, the precision of their cutting and their overall productivity.
They opted for a BFL2513 due to it’s compact size and ability to fit beneath their mezzanine floor to maximise their factory floor space.
Boxford engineers delivered, installed and commissioned the machine and filtered extraction system. Within a few hours of on-site customer training, their chosen machine operators were already running production jobs and making the most of their brand new investment.
Techmobility, East Anglia
BFL2513 1.5kw Fibre Laser Cutter
Techmobility are a mobility equipment supplier based in East Anglia. The addition of a Boxford BFL2513 to their capabilities was initiated to streamline their manufacturing process and enable them to bring their metal laser cutting in-house.
In addition to the machine and filtered extraction system, they also opted to purchase a Boxford 16 bar compressor to allow them to save money on assist gasses when cutting thin sheet metals.
We provided a custom material parameter library for the customer, allowing them to use our pre-defined and tested cutting settings for cutting mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium with compressed air with confidence, saving time and money from the day of installation.
MOD, London
BFL2010 3kw Fibre Laser Cutter
Boxford have long supplied equipment to various military sites all over the UK. We were excited to install one of our BFL2010 fibre lasers in their vehicle workshop in 2024.
The BFL2010 is unique to Boxford and is the most slimline machine in our range which is still capable of loading off the shelf size sheets at 2000mm x 1000mm. It’s pull out table allows for easy loading of sheet materials and off-loading of parts.
With the addition of a dedicated filtered extraction system, this made for a compact, fully self contained set up, saving space and giving our customer a machine which is not only safe but extremely easy to use.

Blackburn College have a fantasic engineering department to rival any higher education centre. They have chosen to invest heavily in Boxford equipment to add to their capabilities, including a powerful 3kw fibre laser cutter for cutting mild steel, stainless steel aluminium and more, CO2 laser cutter for cutting and engraving of non-metals such as acrylic, MDF and plywood, a fibre laser engraving machine for engraving metals and suite of CNC machines, including routers, milling machines and lathes.
Boxford were proud to exhibit at and support the National Festival of Making with Blackburn College in the Town of Blackburn in 2025 and are looking forward to being part of the event in the years to come!
Purex International, Humberside
BGL1390 100w CO2 Laser Cutter
Boxford have been a supplier of Purex filtered extraction systems for many years and we were proud to build on our partnership by installing a brand CO2 laser cutter in their manufacturing facility on Humberside.
Purex will be using their machine to test their filtered extraction systems, as part of their manufacturing process. Our engineer Mark provided their staff with an in-depth training session on the day of delivery, to ensure they could begin using their machine with confidence right away.
Rochdale Training, Lancashire
BFL1390 2kw Fibre Laser Cutter
Rochdale Training are a local training centre in the North of England, who were looking for a compact fibre laser cutter for their engineering workshop. The BFL1390 machine was the perfect machine for the task and was small enough to fit through their limited doorway access.
Boxford took care of the full delivery, installation and commissioning process, ensuring the machine was fully up and running on the day of delivery and provided a full days training to ensure their staff were fully up to speed on all aspects of CNC fibre laser cutting, laser programming and general maintenance.

Leon Paul London are a sword fencing manufactuer, established in the UK in 1921. They are the only fencing company to be run by Olympic fencers and one of the most reputable manufactures of fencing equipment in the world.
They required a precision fibre laser cutter to speed up their production of fencing blades and improve their cut quality and accuracy.
Boxford engineers expertly delivered and commissioned their brand new BFL1390 1kw fibre laser in one day and following an in-depth training session, Loen Paul were ready to begin production right from the off!

Shrewsbury College are one of the many higher education centres in the UK to invest in a Boxford fibre laser.

DMP Engineering are an established CNC machine shop based in Nottinghamshire. In order to further their capabiities, they decided to invest in two Boxford machines, incldung a 50w CO2 laser cutter and 60w MOPA fibre laser marking and engraving machine.
Our engineers delivered, installed and trained the customer on both machines within one full day, leaving the customer confident they could start getting to grips with all aspects of machine and software usage from the get go.

Pro Cut Tooling are a tooling manufactuer and precision engineering company based in Humberside. They decided to invest in a Boxford fibre laser engraver to add part identification, part numbers, QR codes and logos to their parts for traceability and added professionalism.

CRD Precision, Glamorgan
BFM110 30w Fibre Marking Laser
CRD Precision invested in a Boxford fibre laser engraving machine, as a solution for all of their part marking needs. Boxford delivered and installed this space saving bench top machine and delivered an in-depth training session all in one day.
During the training session our engineer also helped to set up drawing templates in Lightburn laser software, to ensure the customer could begin to engrave their priority orders and ensure they were getting value from their investment within the very first few hours of installation.
Lambrook School, Berkshire
BGL460 80w CO2 Laser Cutter
As you can see from the photo, staff at Lambrook School in Berkshire were very happy with their new CO2 laser cutter!
Our engineers delivered their brand new BGL460 80w laser, fully commissioned including post-transit laser beam alignment and gave an in-depth training session, which allowed teaching staff to get hands on and comfortable using our laser and software.
We were able to connect our machine to the customers existing filtered extraction system, allowing staff to use the machine safely from day one.
UNASIS International, Oxford
BFM110 30w Fibre Marking Laser
Bearing manufacturer UNASIS International, based in Oxfordshire, decided to invest in a Boxford BFM110 30w fibre laser engraver to improve the quality and speed of their part marking process.
They ordered their machine with our optional wheeled cabinet base and laptop shelf to make their system more portable, as well as giving themselves additional storage space.
In order to make the cabinet match their existing workshop colour scheme, they requested if we could paint their cabinet blue. Using our in-house powder coating facilities, we were able to oblige and not only provide them with a state of the art fibre laser engraving system, but also a set up which suited their workshop and branding perfectly!
PFS Ltd, West Yorkshire
BGL1390 100w CO2 Laser Cutter
PFS Ltd in West Yorkshire decided to invest in a large format CO2 laser cutter and engraving machine from Boxford to add to their manufacturing capabilities.
Capable of cutting up to 18mm thick acrylic in a single pass, their powerful new 100w laser was put to work on day one, following delivery, installation and training by a Boxford engineer.
We include Lightburn laser software as standard, including a 4k design positioning and image tracing camera, making the system extremely easy to use. Our machines also come as standard with a built-in chiller, air compressor and auto-focus, making our machines some of the most comprehensive, safe and space saving CO2 lasers on the market.
Hamstead Hall Academy, West Midlands
BGL350 50w CO2 Laser Cutter
Hamstead Hall Academy in the West Midlands decided to purchase our smallest CO2 laser cutter to fit in the limited classroom space they had available. Complete with a Purex 300i filtered extraction system, their machine was delivered, installed and training was provided all in one morning, allowing staff to use their new machine safely straight away.

In addition to their BFL fibre metal cutting laser, Leon Paul London also purchased a Boxford BFM110 30w fibre engraving laser to replace their existing engraving machine.

BGL460 80w CO2 Laser Cutter
One of our most popular CO2 laser cutters for schools is the BGL460 80w laser. It’s compact and space saving enough to fit in a small workshop or classroom, but also still boasts an impressive 600mm x 400mm work area and 80w of power.
The BGL460 can cut up to 12mm thick acrylic in a single pass, as well as having fantastic high-definition engraving capabilities across a vast range of materials, from plywood and perspex, to textiles and slate!
